Lutindi Mental Hospital is a private mental health facility in the scenic Usambara Mountains of Tanzania. Most patients are from the big cities and are addicted to alcohol or illegal drugs, or have schizophrenia or psychosis. Much emphasis is placed on occupational therapy in a rural setting that differs as much as possible from the big city.

As a volunteer in the village school of Muungoni in the Jozani Rainforest, you can be part of the village community and get intensive insights into a rural and traditional aspect of Zanzibar, which you would not be able to find in other locations in Zanzibar. You can stay with a host family or with other volunteers in our Zanzibar Forest Camp.

Support patients through a unique combination of canine and equine therapy in Argentina. Work across two placements, helping with therapy sessions that improve mobility, confidence, and emotional well-being.
