The aim of this animal-loving project is to provide a home for exotic animals that have been mistreated or abandoned. The idea is to take care of the animals so that they can be released back into the wild. It is also important to educate the public about wildlife in Hungary and that exotic animals are not pets.
The project is dedicated to the sustainable production of furniture made of bamboo. This helps to conserve the tree population in the forests. In addition, jobs are being created for locals through this trade. You will work in all areas (e.g. production, planning, marketing, maintenance) of the project.
In Sri Lanka, numerous dogs live wild on the streets. In the dog project, these street dogs are cared for, groomed, neutered, vaccinated and, if possible, placed in a new home. You will support the team in particular with the care and feeding of the dogs and will help the often shy animals to get used to humans, e.g. by playing with them.

Set in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains in Transylvania, this sanctuary currently homes over 100 mistreated and abused bears. Rescued from cramped cages and tourist attractions, these bears can now enjoy freedom in the stunning sanctuary. Volunteers mainly help with food preparation and other ad hoc sanctuary tasks, watched over by the bears. Day trips for school groups are available.
