This wildlife project in Nepal is dedicated to protecting tigers from extinction. As a volunteer, you will support the team in field research and anti-poaching projects in local villages. The combination of research and conservation programs in local schools and communities is designed to ensure the long-term protection of tigers.
The program takes place with a leading sea turtle conservation organization on the subtropical island of Okinawa, Japan. From April to July, you support nightly beach patrols to document nesting activity. In August and September, you assist with the hatching of baby turtles. Year-round, you contribute to beach cleanups, environmental education, fundraising, and data analysis.
This project gives you the opportunity to make a contribution to species conservation as a voluntary helper and dedicate yourself to vulnerable whale sharks in the Maldives. Living and working on a research vessel, you will get a unique insight into the natural paradise of the Maldives as part of a team of international volunteers, and are bound to have an unforgettable experience.
In this animal welfare project, employees and volunteers look after street dogs. The welfare of the dogs is the top priority. The dogs are taken in, neutered and, if possible, given a new home. Sick or injured dogs are nursed back to health. As a volunteer, you support the care of the dogs and do everything you can to ensure that they are well.
