If you're looking to muck in and care for hundreds of amazing animals on your family holiday, look no further. Sun bears, orangutans, monkeys, elephants, macaques, birds and more can be found at this inspiring wildlife sanctuary just 3 hours from Bangkok. You and your family will help with food preparation, feeding, cleaning and enrichments. These animals have all been rescued from the illegal pet trade or the cruel tourist trade, and sadly are unable to live a life in the wild. With your help and care, these animals can live a life as close to the wild as possible. Children must be 14 or older.
It is possible to work just with elephants at this inspirational sanctuary, however children must be aged 14+. Help to prepare their food, harvest their food, bathe the elephants and walk with them through the forest. The elephants live in huge natural enclosures, but as nomadic animals, it is important that they are able to roam as they would have done in the wild.
