In Sri Lanka, numerous dogs live wild on the streets. In the dog project, these street dogs are cared for, groomed, neutered, vaccinated and, if possible, placed in a new home. You will support the team in particular with the care and feeding of the dogs and will help the often shy animals to get used to humans, e.g. by playing with them.

In the forests around Karuizawa you can join a conversation project for Asian Black Bears, carried out by the Wildlife Research Centre. You will assist the team to tag Black Bears with radio collars and to keep the bears away from humans. Furthermore you can assist with guided visitor tours through the forest. This volunteer placement is possible in English language.

In this animal welfare project, employees and volunteers look after street dogs. The welfare of the dogs is the top priority. The dogs are taken in, neutered and, if possible, given a new home. Sick or injured dogs are nursed back to health. As a volunteer, you support the care of the dogs and do everything you can to ensure that they are well.

Get involved in species protection in Nepal! In your volunteer work, you will be involved in a project for the conservation of rare animal species and nature. Help the organization monitor the forest, reintroduce rescued animals into the wild, and educate visitors and local residents.
