Even without travelling, you can do a remote internship with a Tanzanian newspaper, radio station, television production company or journalists association and improve your knowledge about East Africa, its the media landscape and journalism. The internships are possible part-time or full-time.
In Tanzania, around 4 million children under 14 do not have access to adequate care. As a volunteer, you can get involved in institutions that counteract this. Volunteering placements are possible for anyone interested in motivated, as well as internships, for instance for students of social work or education.

You will communicate online with your professional internship supervisor, a lawyer from a Tanzanian law firm or NGO. Full-time and part-time internship are possible, so you can also do it simultaneously to your studies or job! Minimum duration 2 weeks.

Do you want to teach and support children and young people where support is urgently needed? Then Tanzania is the right place for you. You can impart knowledge to students and prepare them for an independent life at a range of different locations. You will support teachers and work at a primary school.
As a volunteer in the village school of Muungoni in the Jozani Rainforest, you can be part of the village community and get intensive insights into a rural and traditional aspect of Zanzibar, which you would not be able to find in other locations in Zanzibar. You can stay with a host family or with other volunteers in our Zanzibar Forest Camp.
