By treating and rehabilitating injured animals and educating the population about environmental protection, the sanctuary aims to enable the monkeys to live a species-appropriate life.
In many African societies, women and children are discriminated against and are denied even basic human rights. Furthermore, they are often disadvantaged in legal matters. In Moshi/Kilimanjaro, we are working with several organizations that provide support, knowledge about income generation, health education and legal advice to women, children and disadvantaged minorities.
