Lutindi Mental Hospital is a private mental health facility in the scenic Usambara Mountains of Tanzania. Most patients are from the big cities and are addicted to alcohol or illegal drugs, or have schizophrenia or psychosis. Much emphasis is placed on occupational therapy in a rural setting that differs as much as possible from the big city.

This project offers you the opportunity to work with children and young people from various native, rural Amazon communities in the middle of the rainforest. In the boarding school the children are offered shelter, food, and access to education and health care. Breathtaking views of the landscape and contact with indigenous peoples are guaranteed on this trip!

Join our Medical Internship in Argentina. You will gain real experience by shadowing doctors and nurses in different hospital departments. Plus, you will join awareness campaigns in communities who have limited access to medical services. Not only will you gain practical experience abroad but you will also experience the humanity of medical care and the very nature of your future profession.

This remote/virtual internship is with an organization supporting children from socially disadvantaged backgrounds in Cochabamba, Bolivia. You will have a professional social worker as a supervisor and will be mainly active in administrative tasks for the NGO as well as in creating contents for social media and the website. Part time and full time are possible!

The mostly single women and mothers in our projects come from difficult living conditions characterised by domestic violence and stigmatisation by Tanzanian society due to HIV/AIDS. We support the women with various initiatives so that they can find their way back to an independent and self-reliant life.

A large number of children and youth in Bolivia lack education, suffers from domestic violence and are not adequately cared for which makes it almost impossible for them to escape poverty and to develop appropriately. This volunteering project conducts educational and leisure activities for socially disadvantaged children and youth. Join in and assist the local team with making a difference!

Votre aide est grandement appréciée pour ces structures en manque d’effectif et de moyens matériels.
