About New Zealand
New Zealand is a beautiful part of the world, playing home to gorgeous beaches, stunning mountains and dazzling Fiordland. This country is steeped in rich Maori culture and history from when the Polynesians came to Australia 800 years ago. Now there is an eclectic mix of Maori, Islander and European influence. Unfortunately in recent years New Zealand has suffered from various natural disasters, man-made problems and alarmingly high numbers of species loss and extinction.
