Project description: Wildlife monitoring programme.
Nature lovers, Africa fans as well as conservation enthusiasts fit perfectly into this project! Join us and take this opportunity to learn fundamental conservation techniques and traditional tracking skills. Observe individual animals or entire herds on game drives or walks and determine pre-defined characteristics such as behavioural patterns, extent of territory or population size. Habitat conservation measures, such as the removal of poisonous plants, are also part of your work schedule. You and your international volunteer team will always be accompanied by experienced guides and will gain practical learning experience in the middle of the South African bush in parallel to the theoretical training!
Travel to South Africa
To get to the project location in the Limpopo Province, you need to book a flight to Eastgate Airport in Hoedspruit. We will assist you with your travel arrangements! At the airport, you will be met by a staff member and brought to the camp. This airport transfer is included in the price.
