About the animal sanctuary in Cape Town
Your place of work is an animal sanctuary in Cape Town. Farm animals, pets, wild animals and farm animals find refuge here. The facility is a member of international animal protection associations. Your tasks in the project
As a volunteer at the animal sanctuary, you will work in a variety of areas, as needed. This could be in the field or in the animal rescue service, or directly at the sanctuary. This way, your tasks will remain varied.
Your tasks also include feeding and caring for the animals, cleaning the stables and enclosures, and walking the dogs. In order to run the sanctuary in the long term, donations for the animals must be collected. That's why you can also be involved in fundraising and help the team keep the animal sanctuary alive for a long time to come! If you have previous knowledge in the field of veterinary medicine, so much the better! Then you have the opportunity to support the doctors in the veterinary clinic.
Your daily routine in the project
Your working days as a volunteer at the site are from Monday to Friday. Your day starts at 8 o'clock and ends around 16 o'clock. In between, you have a lunch break.
