Your placement in Vietnam
Your place of work is an organic farm in the rural outskirts around the capital Hanoi. A total of five farmers work here who are committed to sustainable farming for the benefit of nature and people. They do not use any chemicals such as plant or insect poisons and live off the farm's produce. As a lot of work has to be done by just a few people, your help with the daily care of the gardens, beds and animals is very welcome.

The area itself is surrounded by rice fields, other farms and a few small farmers' houses. The small paths between the farms are ideal for hiking and cycling.

Your tasks in the farming project
During your volunteer work in Vietnam, you will help with all the work on the farm. For example, you will sow and harvest vegetables and water the plants. You also help with mowing and remove the cut grass. You feed the animals that live on the farm, such as the ducks, chickens and pigs. You will also learn how to make and apply a natural pesticide from herbs and can then help the farmers make it.

Your everyday working life in Vietnam
Du arbeitest montags bis freitags von 8:00 Uhr bis 17:00 Uhr. Dreimal am Tag, morgens, abends und in der Mittagspause, isst du gemeinsam mit dem Team und den Locals. An den Wochenenden hast du frei.
