Volunteering in an agricultural project in Romania

According to legend, the legendary Count Dracula lived in Romania at Bran Castle. This can still be visited today. Furthermore, you can go on extensive hiking tours in the Carpathian Mountains. In the capital, Bucharest, you can marvel at the gigantic Palace of the Parliament. As a special treat, you can visit an underground amusement park, namely Salina Turda.

A typical day:
You can choose when to start work depending on the season and your preferences. When it's hot, many people start early in the morning and finish work in the afternoon after a long break to avoid working in the scorching midday heat. During the mild winter season, work starts at 10 am and ends at 3 pm. You should work about 3-6 hours a day. What you do depends on the weather.
For example:
you start the day at 9 am. If it's raining, you work in the greenhouses and warehouses, and when the weather is nice, you work outside. You can organize your breaks yourself. In detail, the whole thing could look something like this: you start by cultivating the soil in the greenhouse, checking the drip irrigation system for leaks and watering the plants. After your break, you then cut the grass between the beds, tend to the compost, expand the rainwater collection system and make sure that the drains are all well connected.
